ProvKids

The hope for ProvKids is to help nurture faith in the next generation, from age 2 through 12th grade. We want kids to know God’s Word, experience His vast love for them, and grow deeper in their faith through learning, worship, and relationships. This is a church that cares deeply and longs for our kids to know, from a young age, their purpose and place, both in the church and in the broader world, to glorify the Lord.

Extra opportunities for our elementary age students!

WORSHIP

Every other Sunday, grades 1-5 spend the first 15 minutes of Sunday School (10:45-11:00am) participating in worship together!

BIBLE MEMORY CAMP

Grades 2-5 have the option of participating in BMC. Students memorize and recite scripture with a BMC Leader. The scripture that is chosen is done intentionally with the Pastor and the ministry team.

  • For first time and regular attendees: if your child will attend ProvKids Ministries (2-5 year olds), please register them in our KidCheck system and sign in on the app or on the iPads by door A when you arrive.

  • All parents or legal guardians must fill out a WaiverSign form for each child attending any of our ProvKids Ministries. This is done annually.

    • When is ProvKids available?

      • 2-5 year olds meet during the worship service (after the opening part of worship) for a time of Bible lessons, songs, and play.

      • 1st-12th grade meets after the worship service during our Sunday School and Catechism hour from 10:45-11:45am.

    • What curriculum do you use?

      • We use Gospel-centered curriculum that aligns with Reformed theology and engages kids at their age. Our youngest learners hear and respond to Bible stories through play and wonder; elementary kids explore God’s Word through hands on lessons and discussion; and, middle and high schoolers dive deeper through our Heidelberg Catechism and Confessions studies.

    • Do I need to register my child?

      • Yes, registration allows us to keep kids safe! And, it helps us to prepare for your child, communicate with you as needed, and ensure we have up-to-date emergency contact information. Please use the KidCheck Registration and WaiverSign forms on the webpage.

      • We’re always glad to welcome visiting families or those trying Providence for the first time! Just stop by the welcome center and ask for help with our in-person KidCheck stations — we’ll get you connected.

    • What if my child has special needs or requires extra support?

      • We want every child to feel welcome and cared for. If your child has unique needs, please reach out in advance so we can work together on the best plan for support and inclusion.
